Membership

Membership in the Virginia Juniors Club is open to any daughter who joined DAR as a junior member and holds current membership in a Virginia Chapter. Accordingly, you can be over age 35 and join the Virginia Juniors Club. The past and present Virgnia State Chairmen of the Junior Membership Committee are also eligible to join.

Membership dues for the Virginia Juniors Club are $3.00 per year. Fifty cents per member is contributed to the Helen Pouch Memorial Fund-raising which benefits the Kate Duncan Smith and Tamassee DAR Schools. Another fifty cents per member is contributed to the State Regent's Project. Please submit your dues using the form from the printed brochure, or from a PDF version of the form which can be downloaded HERE for you to print, fill out, and mail.

At the March 2002 Meeting the Bylaws were amended to include Life Membership. Life Membership is now available to members under the age of sixty-five for $50 and to members age sixty-five and over for $25.

Objective

The objective of the Virginia Juniors Club is to promote Virginia Juniors and their involvement on the Chapter, State, and National levels. We increase awareness of the Junior Membership Committee within the Virginia DAR and enjoy friendship and camaraderie.

Virginia Juniors Club Pin

The Virginia Juniors Club has a pin available from J.E. Caldwell. Members of the club are eligible to purchase the pin and wear it on their official insignia. The pin is an original designed by a charter member of the club.

Junior Breakfast

The Virginia Juniors Club has the honor of hosting the Junior Breakfast each year at State Conference. All DAR members are encouraged to attend the Junior Breakfast.

Annual Meeting

The Virginia Juniors Club meets annually at the State Conference. The location will be announced. Please plan to attend. Bring a new member to the meeting!
