We offer the challenge of an exciting and very necessary project of preserving one of our Commonwealth's colonial treasures, the Yorktown Customhouse. The project's cost is an estimated $150,000.

This 285 year old colonial British building is faced with a severe "moisture challenge" from without its age-old foundation, primarily due to the continuing re-paving of two perimeter roads. The drainage water accumulates and runs off the roadway into the window wells in such quantity and force that often glass in the basement windows breaks allowing run-off water to enter the English basement.

The 225th anniversary of the Battle of Yorktown occurs on October 19, 2006. Our goal is for the Customhouse, one of the few original buildings remaining in Yorktown, to be ready by then.
