Do you have a Revolutionary War patriot in your family tree? Membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) honors and preserves the legacy of your patriot ancestor. Over two hundred years ago, American patriots fought and sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy today. As a member of DAR, through participation in the Society’s various programs and activities, you can continue this legacy by actively supporting historic preservation, promotion of education, and patriotic endeavors.

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) is a volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education.

Founded in 1890, there are approximately 177,000 members in 3,000 chapters located across the United States and around the world.
