Welcome to the Old St. John's Chapter NSDAR

The Old St. John’s Church Chapter NSDAR was officially organized on February 7, 2009, in West Point, Virginia. The organizing regent was Elizabeth “Beth” Edwards Jones. Organizing members were Lena Long, Minor Trevilian, Jeanne Gilman, Lynne Mathis, Kate Conklin, Elizabeth Jones, Ann Dartt, Jean Hachey, Bunnie Merritt, Martha Edwards, Toni Wainwright, Mary Elizabeth Riggs, Cary Brabrand, and Sandra Blackwell. Since 2009, the chapter has grown to over 20 members. The chapter is named for the Old St. John’s Church which was built in 1734, and restored by the Old St. John’s Church Restoration Association in 2013. The church is located in King William County a few miles west of West Point, and is now used for special events. The Old St. John’s Chapter NSDAR takes special interest and supports the activities held at Old St. John's Church.

Chapter meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. from September through May in order to accommodate those who are not able to attend daytime meetings.
