WELCOME TO DISTRICT III,
VIRGINIA DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION

Located in central and southern Virginia, members of our fourteen chapters are vital and engaged women of all ages and backgrounds. Chapters are involved in a variety of community activities that support our National Society’s goals of preserving American history, promoting education, and encouraging patriotism. Initiatives range from historic preservation projects, supporting active duty military and veterans, assisting with naturalization ceremonies, and sponsoring American History essay contests, to serving as literacy volunteers, awarding scholarships, promoting conservation, and hosting commemorative events such as Wreaths Across America. There are abundant opportunities to use your talents, share your time, and develop new friendships throughout the year.

Any District III chapter would be delighted to assist you in researching your genealogy to support your membership in our Society. We look forward to welcoming you as a Virginia Daughter!
