Dear Prospective Member,
Thank you for your interest in Lynnhaven
Parish chapter. We are an active and vibrant group
of 124 women ranging in age from college students to mid-90's.
The diverse interests of chapter members have contributed
to the wide range of activities in which we participate.
We have ongoing projects to benefit the NSDAR Library,
DAR Schools, the Hampton Veterans Administration Hospital and historical
projects in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We
actively participate in Naturalization Ceremonies, Flag
Day and Constitution Week. We co-sponsor the
Central Library Midnight Madness - Researching Your
Family History in the Dark; Basically, we have an
area of interest for just about everyone who walks in
our door.
You are cordially invited to attend
one of our meetings and become more familiar with the
activities of our chapter and the National Society Daughters of the
American Revolution.
Lynnhaven Parish holds meetings on Saturday mornings in
order to better accommodate our working and student
members. A Program Calendar,
which includes meeting dates and times, is listed on
this site.
Please use the link below to send me an e-mail with
your name, address, and phone number. I will
respond with more detailed information on membership
requirements and application instructions. You will
be placed on our e-mailing list and notified of upcoming
meetings and events. We hope to meet you at a chapter
meeting very soon.
