Do you have a Revolutionary War patriot in your family tree? Membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) honors and preserves the legacy of your patriot ancestor. Over two hundred years ago, American patriots fought and sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy today. As a member of DAR and through participation in the Society’s various programs and activities, you can continue this legacy by actively supporting historic preservation, promotion of education, and patriotic endeavors.
Any woman is eligible for membership who is no less than eighteen years of age and can prove lineal, blood line descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence. She must provide documentation for each statement of birth, marriage, and death.
For more information on eligibility, please visit the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution membership page by clicking here. The chapter registrar is prepared to provide advice and assistance in this endeavor, if needed.
Please contact First Vice Regent Judith Korfonta or Membership Chairman Jeannie Leson for more information on membership.
