Membership

Thank you for your interest in the Daughters of the American Revolution, and for your desire to learn more about Charles Parish Chapter.

We are a group of 70 women from all walks of life, ranging in age from 21 to 85. Many of our women work outside the home, are raising families, or both. Some have retired; others plan to do so soon.

Because of the diversity of interests within our organization, we search for programs on a number of relevant topics in today’s world. Most of our chapter meetings are on the 4th Tuesday of each month (except for December and the summer months). However, we plan at least two, if not three, Saturday meetings to accommodate those who work during the week.

Our membership draws primarily from Poquoson and York Counties in Tidewater Virginia, as well as from Hampton and Newport News, Virginia. We also have several out-of-state members.
