The George Mason Chapter meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month, September through May, unless otherwise indicated. Each regular meeting includes devotions, patriotic exercises, the President General's message, and a three-minute national defense report.

Due to member interest in this program on the women’s suffrage movement, and the incarceration of the early leaders at the Lorton Prison, a field trip to the former prison museum is planned.
Birthday Party Celebrating NSDAR 125th Anniversary and George Mason Chapter’s 15th Anniversary
Celebration to include recognition of organizing and charter members of the George Mason chapter, past regents, video on the development of the DAR and its history, refreshments, birthday cake, and music/singing. Celebrate 125!
“Mayflower Compact”

Author and chapter member recounts her ancestor’s journey from England to the United States aboard the Mayflower. Ms. Pledger’s ancestor was involved in the writing of the Mayflower Compact, written aboard the ship before landing at Plymouth Rock, Massachusetts. Just in time for the Thanksgiving celebration!
Visit of Virginia DAR State Regent Virginia Sebastian Storage. George Mason Chapter is joined by five other District V DAR chapters in hosting Ms. Storage for a holiday luncheon.

Ms. Sienkiewicz’s 4th great aunt, Clara Harris, was in the Presidential Box with President Abraham Lincoln, Mrs. Lincoln, and Maj. Henry Rathbone at Ford’s Theater the evening President Lincoln was shot. As we honor the former presidents during the month of February, Ms. Sienkiewicz will share fascinating information about this tragic historic event.
