Welcome to the Lynchburg Chapter NSDAR!

Monument Terrace Lynchburg, VA

DAR Chapter Centennial PinThank you for your interest in the Lynchburg Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR), and welcome to our website. Our chapter was founded in January 1909, and is named after the City of Lynchburg. Our founding regent was Roberta Strother who served as regent from 1909—1910 and again in 1918. Our chapter is over 100 years old, and we are very proud that Lynchburg Daughters have kept it alive and valid.

VIS approvalWe invite you to learn more about our chapter and the NSDAR. You do not need to be a member in order to attend a chapter meeting, outing, or event. Simply contact our regent or registrar, and we'll be happy to give you specifics regarding the time, place and event of our next meeting. With very few exceptions, our monthly meetings are held at 2:00 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month from September through May. Please join us!
