Virginia Society of the Children of the American Revolution.
Education
- Award DAR scholarships to two local high school students
- Present Good Citizen and American History awards to many area schools
- Support DAR schools with monetary donations
- Support the Marie Yochim classroom at the Kate Duncan Smith DAR School
- Sponsored the recipient of the Virginia DAR Outstanding Teacher of American History Award
Historic Preservation
- Suffragists marking at the historic Occoquan Workhouse
- Maintain District of Columbia boundary stones
- Support preservation of Virginia landmarks

Patriotism and Service to Veterans
- Support DAR Project Patriot by donating phone cards for soldiers at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany
- Support the Armed Services Retirement Home in Washington, DC with donated gifts and services
- Donated 40 pounds of personal hygiene supplies requested by Operation Enduring Spirit
Community Service
- Purchased an archival travel box for the safe transport of the wills of George and Martha Washington from the Fairfax County Courthouse to Mount Vernon
- Participate in Naturalization Services for new American citizens
- Donate new books to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at INOVA Hospital
- Donate magazines to adult detention centers to support literacy programs
- Support conservation of the Chesapeake Bay and Wildlife Habitat
- Present awards to individuals that have made an outstanding contribution to the community
- Supported the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Three-Day Walk
